Funding supported a $25,000 grant for a new roof in an affordable housing development specifically for Veterans. Located in the heart of Salem’s Grant neighborhood, community partner DevNW renovated a church and the parsonage next door into 17 beautiful apartments that local Veterans now call home. Local Salemites may recognize this building on the corner of D St. and Cottage. With Oregon’s severe housing crisis many Veterans simply cannot find units that are both affordable and accessible to them. We are honored to support this important project in our community.
