What an honor to partner with this long-standing nonprofit organization whose mission is empowering people to change their lives and exit poverty by providing vital services and community leadership. One of their key program areas is supporting the unsheltered in our community to find pathways to greater safety and stability. Our $25,000 grant is funding the furnishings and technology needs of an educational space at their new Family First Resource Center on NE Broadway, just down the street from Maps. Here, families who are experiencing homelessness can step into their welcoming doors to access essential resources, including housing assistance, healthcare, food, and transportation support. While parents engage in coaching sessions with resource navigators, children can relax and play in a supervised environment, ensuring a family-friendly and dignified experience. We are grateful to be a partner in this empowering program that builds hope for the future.
