The Eco-Earth Globe has been a key feature at Salem’s Riverfront Park since 2003. Our grant of $5,000 will contribute to the restoration of the 26-foot-diameter mosaic sculpture that was created by Salem citizens to transform an industrial acid ball once used by Boise Cascade into a beautiful work of art. Once completed, it was gifted to the City of Salem in 2003 as a symbol of world peace, global awareness, and cultural diversity.
