CASA of Marion County

CASA of Marion County

CASA of Marion County is a Salem-based nonprofit that supports children and youth in foster care through trained volunteer advocates. CASA works to help ensure children in foster care are safe, have a permanent home, and have the opportunity to thrive.

In September of 2026, the Maps Community Foundation was proud to present a $25,000 grant to CASA of Marion County in support of renovations at its new headquarters in Northeast Salem. The project will help create a multi-purpose community conference room and bilingual resource library for foster youth, CASA volunteers, resource families, community partners, and others connected to the foster care system.

The renovated space will support volunteer trainings, community partner meetings, workshops for foster youth, resource navigation, and bilingual support for families and community members. It will also help CASA expand access to services and strengthen support for children and families across Marion County.

CASA of Marion County plays an important role in helping children in foster care feel seen, supported, and advocated for. The new space will give CASA more room to welcome families, train volunteers, share resources, and connect people with the help they need. Projects like this reflect the Maps Community Foundation’s commitment to helping local nonprofits expand access, build connection, and serve their communities well.
